Group Tours

Group tours are a speciality at Ardgillan where a day out can be enjoyed by groups or societies from all walks of life.

Arrive at the expansive foreground overlooking the Irish Sea (where buses can easily negotiate a U-turn) and take a tour of the castle as the first item on a busy itinerary.

Afterwards, a selection of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, soups, teas, coffees and scones can be enjoyed in the Tea Rooms or on the sun terrace overlooking the spectacular southern aspect of the park.

Special rates are available for groups in the Tea Rooms.

Following lunch a (pre-organised) tour of the gardens with our head gardener can tremendously enhance the visitor’s experience of Ardgillan and all it has to offer or stroll around the gardens at your own pace.

Finally, for the more adventurous, a walk through the woodland and the more remote south-westerly areas of the park and afterwards a stroll down to the demesne’s private beach and back to the castle will top off an action-packed day.

Castle tours are available all day.  For Groups over 10 cost €5.00 per person.  Please call to check availabililty.
